
Sharron Burns Taylor, 76, of Grafton, died Thursday Feb. 10, 2022, in Miami. Sharron was born on Oct. 6, 1945, in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Russell and Beulah Lazzelle. She is survived by her loving husband, J. Steven Taylor, and their family, Wade Burns (Joann), Sheila Snider (Billy), Judd Taylor (Andrea), Pieter Taylor (Ellen), Drake Burns (Annie), Brandon Burns (Blair), Justin Burns (Maggie), Blaine Shumiloff (Savahanna), Sebastian Snider, Piper Burns, Brooks Burns and Jenny Taylor.
Sharron was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was happiest when spending time all together with her entire family. For many years, she and Steve especially enjoyed sharing their lake life at Tygart Lake with their kids, grandkids and other close family and friends. They have spent the last several winters at the Outdoor Resort in Long Key, Fla. She shared many great friendships in both West Virginia and Florida. Sharron also made many lifelong friends during her successful, 25 plus year career with Avon, retiring in 2006 as district manager.
In addition to her parents, Sharron was preceded in death by her siblings, Johnnie and Arthur, and her first husband, Alan “Butch” Burns.
At Sharron’s request, no service is planned at this time.
