
Woodrow “Woody” Feather, 83, of Bruceton Mills (Brandonville Community), died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2022, at his home. The son of the late Bruce Edward and Mildred Ann Fike Feather, he was born on April 10, 1938, in Cuzzart.
Woody was a coal truck driver for most of his adult life.
He is survived by three sons, David L. Feather and wife Judy, of Bruceton Mills, Marvin L. Feather and wife Debbie, of Tunnelton, and Kevin Lee Feather and companion Patty Frankhouser, of Bruceton Mills; and a daughter, Mindy Newbraugh, of Bruceton Mills. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Woody was preceded in death by a daughter, Serena Jo Beavers; two brothers, Charles and Cecil Feather; and one sister, Helen Shafer.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service on Wednesday, Feb. 23, with Pastor Timothy P. Edin officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery in Bruceton Mills.
