Social Studies Fair draws more than 100 projects

KINGWOOD — More than 100 Social Studies Fair projects lined the gym at the Preston County Civic Center recently. Projects ranged from the History of Company Stores and Coal Camps of West Virginia to What Angered the American Indians?

Garhet Knotts, a 10th grader, chose the topic of Protecting Our Wild and Wonderful — The Natural Resources Police Officer. Garhet is the son of April and Corey Knotts of Lenox.
