Marilynn Joyce (Ludwick) Eisentrout, 84, of Strasburg, Va., formerly of Morgantown, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at her residence.
Born on Aug. 20, 1937, in Keyser, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Dolly (Hottinger) Ludwick. She also was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Morris Kiddy, and a sister-in-law, Linda Ludwick.
Mrs. Eisentrout was a 1955 graduate of Keyser High School and retired as an elementary school and music teacher in the Monongalia County school system. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren for many years, and she enjoyed cooking, homemaking and church music.
Surviving is her husband of 63 years, Edward N. Eisentrout; her son, Wesley Eisentrout and wife Jill, of Woodstock, Va.; two grandchildren, Stephanie Eisentrout and Jennifer Anderson; and a great-grandson, Gohan Eisentrout. Also surviving are two brothers, Bill Ludwick and wife Mary, of Bridgewater, Va., and Don Ludwick, of Keyser; and a sister, Janet Kiddy, of Keyser.
At Mrs. Eisentrout’s request, there will be no visitation.
A graveside service for family and friends will be conducted at the Arnold Cemetery, Junction, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15.
Interment will follow.
