Sb 598, to direct the Department of Veterans Affairs to establish partnerships with service organizations engaged with their local veteran communities to connect veterans and their families with existing resources to combat suicide, and its contributing factors. Governor’s bill.
SB 599, to enact an informed consent for vaccinations law.
SB 601, the Human Life Protection Act, to make all abortions and attempted abortions felony offenses except in cases where abortion is necessary in order to prevent a serious health risk to the unborn child’s mother. Pprovides that a woman who receives an abortion will not be held criminally culpable or civilly liable for receiving the abortion.
SB 605, to allow licensed pharmacists to distribute the drug ivermectin by means of a standing order. Sen. Dave Sypolt, R-Preston, co-sponsor.
HB 4585, to remove the three-day limit on prescriptions for controlled substances.
HB 4586, to provide unemployment compensation benefits to those persons who were terminated, voluntarily dismissed, let go, or otherwise fired for a decision to not take the COVID-19 vaccine. HB 4589, to repeal the section of the code that requires an additional fee for electric and hybrid vehicles.
