Glenn Lee Spitznogle, 91, of Blacksville, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, in the Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.
He was born Aug. 6, 1930, at Mount Morris, Pa., a son of the late John Spitznogle and Mary E. Rose Spitznogle.
Mr. Spitznogle worked as a butcher all of his life and operated a slaughter house in Blacksville for many years.
Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Glenn L. Spitznogle Jr. and his wife Marlene, of Cameron, and Louis Spitznogle and his wife Shelly, of Pentress; one daughter and her husband, Donna Statler and her husband Harold, of Morgantown; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Spitznogle, who died June 9, 2007; three brothers; and two sisters.
All services will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will take place in the Blacksville Cemetery. The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
