Janet Fern Bierer, 71, of Maidsville, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, at Mon Health Medical Center. Janet was born in Morgantown on April 1, 1951, to the late Darrell Collins and Lucille Cool Collins.
Janet was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved playing bingo and going to yard sales.
Janet is survived by her husband, Kevin Bierer; daughter, Kelley Walls (Glenn), of Maidsville; sons, Jimmie Varner, of Cheat Lake, and Kevin Bierer Jr. (fiancée Laura England), of Maidsville; sisters, Penny Sims (Earl), Rosemary Statler (Nelson) and Deborah Radabaugh; brothers, Gene Collins (Bonnie), Danny Collins (Sandy) and David Collins; sister-in-law, Linda McCormick; grandchildren, Lindsey Walls, Austin Walls, Loghan Walls, Brycien Bierer, Kaydence Guthrie and Camden Chesley; two great-grandchildren, Keryan Sowell and Eastyn Walls; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Collins Jr.; grandson, Daniel Mayle; and her brother-in-law, Otis Radabaugh.

Family and friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home. from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, Feb. 1, with Pastor Eldon Mayle officiating. Following the service, McCulla Funeral Home will provide cremation services.
