Marie Richardson, 81, passed away surrounded by family on Jan. 18, 2022. Marie was born in the Borough of Manhattan in New York City on Dec. 7, 1940. She lived most of her life in South Charleston and Morgantown, before moving closer to family in Green, Ohio in 2021.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, in 2007. She is survived by her sons, Mark, of Green, Ohio, and Michael (Beth), of Wayne, Pa.; grandchildren, Malia, Alex, Zach and Julia; daughter-in-law, Tia; and granddogs, Emily and Straizee.
The family would like to thank the many medical professionals who cared for Marie at Summa Health Care and the Hospice of Western Reserve, especially Alicia, Tammy, Darlene and Jackie, as well as many others who made her final moments comfortable.
Marie will be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date. Final interment will be at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Columbarium in South Charleston, where she will be reunited with her husband, Bob.
