Betty L. Thorn, 92, of Morgantown, has passed away.
Wife, mom, sister and grandmother, all done with loving care and a mother’s touch. Betty has now joined our family members in heaven who have gone before us. Surviving family members are sons, Alan Thorn, of Richmond, Va.. Martin and Karen Thorn, of Bruceton Mills; sisters, Wanda Brock, of Fairmont, and Mary Lou Brock-Sepftic, of Bridgeport; and grandson, James Thorn, of Richmond, Va.
In addition, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Thorn; sister, Irene Layman; and grandson, Jeremy Thorn.
The Thorn family would like to thank Hospice and her personal care givers, Michalle and Mary, who were angels sent by God who provided comfort and care for her last few months before passing. Many beautiful things can be said of this family but the truest is this … mom and dad were a bright star around which we all revolved.
A private family graveside service will be conducted at the Arnettsville Cemetery. We ask in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Morgantown Hospice.
