Sue Ann (Bishop) Eavenson, 80, of the Hazelton Community of Bruceton Mills, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 12, 2021.
She was born Aug. 21, 1941, the daughter of the late Clarice (Harned) and Joe Bishop, of Albright, in 1941. She was married to Robert “Buck” Eavenson for 56 years and had one daughter Elissa (Scott) Reckart.
Sue graduated from West Virginia University in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science degree in home economics. She completed her dietetic internship the following year in Cleveland, at St. Luke’s Hospital. S. Navy. She also did consulting at Goodwill Mennonite in Grantsville, Md. and Dennett Road Nursing Homes before returning to clinical work at Hopemont State Hospital. She finished her career as a nutritionist with the Kingwood WIC Program.
She was an active member of the Little Sandy Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday school, served on the church board and served as missionary president. She loved serving others, collecting recipes and cooking, and no one ever left her home hungry. She loved her family and friends.

The family wishes to thank the community, friends and neighbors for the many prayers and acts of kindness.
