Brittney Dawn Thomas, 31, of Masontown, Pa., went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Jan. 8, 1990, in Morgantown, the daughter of Sandra Trickett and stepfather Trent Trickett.
She graduated from Fairmont State University and went on to pursue her dream of being a respiratory therapist at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital for many years. It was her passion and she loved her job and colleagues tremendously, but her greatest accomplishment was her son, whom she loved dearly, spent all her time with and never took a picture without him in it.
She is survived by her 5-year-old son; Robert Beerbower; the father of her son, Robert Beerbower; and grandmother, Barbie Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her grandparent, Woodrow Thomas.
Brittney’s selflessness went on to share her love by organ and tissue donation with CORE, saving many lives.
Family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, and from noon-1 p.m., the funeral hour, on Friday, Dec. 17, with the Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow at Mt View Cemetery.
