Morgantown Mall is ready to shine for the holiday season. With a full list of holiday activities lined up, friends and families can celebrate the season in their own style whether that’s sipping cocoa or parading around with Santa.
“The holidays are an important time for our community to gather, celebrate our loved ones and share gratitude,” said Felicia Posey, general manager at Morgantown Mall. “We are proud to offer events and activities that bring people together to ignite the spirit of the season, while also supporting our local small businesses.”
Photos with Santa
Photos with Santa will be available through Christmas Eve. Guests can save time this holiday season and reserve their photo time slot in advance. Walk-ins are also welcome.
A full list of Santa photo hours and a link to reserve your spot can be found at morgantownmall.com.
Sensitive Santa
For children on the autism spectrum and those with related sensory sensitivities, a Santa visit can often mean crowded spaces, long lines and a swirl of competing noise that can create an over-stimulating and upsetting environment. Sensitive Santa provides a magical experience for guests and is hosted before the mall opens.
Santa has been specially trained and takes cues from parents and caregivers to meet each child’s individual needs. Sensitive Santa is set for 9-10:30 a.m. Dec. 12. Space is limited; advance registration is required and families can register at morgantownmall.com.
Paws & Claus
Dog owners are invited to mix and mingle as they get their favorite pet’s photos taken with Santa at Paws & Claus from 6-8 p.m. Monday. The Santa set is near the play area, and pets and their owners are encouraged to enter the mall entrance at Dunham’s.
Holiday gift guides
Need a little help choosing gifts for the people in your life? Morgantown Mall will share gift guides of hand-picked items for her, for him, for pets, wellness lovers and coworkers. Gather inspiration and shop from the comfort of your own home through Dec. 24 by following Morgantown Mall on Instagram.
Kindness campaign
The true spirit of the season is about kindness. In celebration of National Kindness Day Nov. 13, Morgantown Mall kicked off an interactive art display where guests are invited to “Make Kindness Stick.” Visit the art display near the play area to participate throughout the holiday season.
Bring Home Holiday Magic Sweepstakes
