Clarence “Bud” Aldridge, 81, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, in Punxsutawney, Pa.
He was born in Victor, on April 26, 1940, the son of the late Robert A. Aldridge and Virginia B. Aldridge.
Bud was married to Edith M. (DeGothsier) Aldridge. She preceded him in death. Bud later married Darlene Depp.
Mr. Aldridge was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1957-1967 and during the Cuban Blockage. He was awarded a National Defense Service Medal and a second good conduct medal. He worked as a crew chief and layout designer for American Homes for 44 years, where he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Aldridge; two daughters, Donna Aldridge and husband Gary Nestor, of Morgantown, and Patty Haines and husband Rob, of Mount Morris, Pa; two stepsons and two stepdaughters; grandchildren, David Krushanksy II, Chad Smith, Matthew Krushansky and Samantha Jo reed; brother, Harry Aldridge and wife Brenda; and sister, Marry Ann Alonso and husband J.P. He is survived by a total of 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 28 Amarillo St. Morgantown, WV 26508, from noon-2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021. Ashes will be spread at the Aldridge Cemetery in Corliss on April 23, 2022.
