Lonnie P. Wilhelm Hofer, 69, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, at Mon Health Medical Center. He was born March 2, 1952, in Morgantown, a son of Viola Faye (Lowe) Hofer and the late Ralph Adolph Hofer.
Lonnie was a Master Carpenter and cabinet maker. He was a hard worker and talented at his craft. In his free time, he enjoyed boating and being on his wave runner on Cheat Lake.
Lonnie is survived by children, Fran Jones and her husband Mitch, and Adam Hofer and his wife Lexie; grandchildren, Gibson, Claire, Molly, Xavier, Van and Zane; and sister, Shelia Voorhees.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ralph August Hofer.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
