Kay M. Golden, 62, of Arthurdale, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at home.
The daughter of late Ray G. and June R. Kelly Deal, she was born Dec. 6, 1958, in Kingwood.
Kay was a homemaker and had worked in logistics for a chemical company in Morgantown.
She is survived by a daughter, Hope Golden, of Arthurdale; a son and his wife, Samuel and Rebecca Golden, of Gladesville; six grandchildren: Faith Ivester and husband, John, Gwen King, L.J. King, Mickala Gordon and husband Evan, Maranda Golden and fiancé Travis Dille and Macie Golden and friend Corbin Lipscomb; and three great-grandchildren, William, Waylan and Carter Ray.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Deal.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the KAMP Ambulance Service and Amedisys Hospice nurse, Sarah Cartwright.
Following a private visitation, family and friends are welcome to attend the funeral and graveside burial service at the Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, at noon on Thursday, Nov. 11, with Pastor Jim Cooley officiating.
Due to the prevalence of the COVID virus, masks and social distancing are recommended.
