David McCrobie, 74, of Kingwood, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at Mon Heatlh Medical Center with family by his side.
He was born March 14, 1947, in Preston County, the son of the late Lawrence and Ethel Stonebreaker Varner.
David was a loving brother and uncle, he worked as a machinist in Ohio, loved his animals and flowers,
He is survived by his stepson, Johnny Kiser, in Ohio; three brothers, Harry McCrobie and wife Susan, Samuel McCrobie and companion Alice and Daniel Barnhart; six sisters, Rosemary Weaver and husband Raymond, Marlene Jenkins and husband Joe, Bonnie Gibson, Lilly Reckart and husband Patrick, Ida Stonebreaker and Charlotte Forth and husband Lee, three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his companion, Phyllis Kiser; his step-grandson; nine brothers and sisters; and three half brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4, where funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will be held in the Crown Hill Memorial Park in Twinsburg, Ohio on Friday, Nov. 5.
