Charles Richard “Rick” Lincoln, 68, of Morgantown, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at his home following a lengthy illness, with his family at his side. Born in Morgantown, and raised in the Point Marion, Pa. area, he was a son of the late John Ralph and Helen Jane (Ruble)
Lincoln Miller.
He had attended the Albert Gallatin High School, previously worked for the O.J. White Moving Company and later retired from the custodian department of West Virginia University. He enjoyed looking after his family, and loved to be outdoors hunting and fishing.
Surviving is his wife of nearly 50 years, Neita Louise (Price) Lincoln; five children, Charles (Brenda) Lincoln, of Iowa, John, Hailey and Nicole Lincoln, all of Morgantown, and James (Chrissy) Lincoln, of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Donna Rowe and husband Art, of Carmichaels, Pa., Beatrice Moats, of Morgantown, and Sarah Lincoln, of Uniontown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Also deceased is one brother, Ralph Wayne Lincoln, and his mother-in-law, Juanita Hagedorn, who passed away on the same day as Rick.
Honoring his wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are in the care of the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Pa.
