Sharon L. Hennen, 75, of Fairmont, formerly of Crossroads, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, in the Pierpont Center in Fairmont.
She was born Aug. 14, 1946, at Crossroads, a daughter of the late Robert E. Hennen and Jane E. Hotchkiss Hennen.
Ms. Hennen was a member of the Union Baptist Church at Crossroads.
Surviving are two sons, Curtis Ray Riggs, of Bridgeport, and Carey Riggs, of Morgantown; one daughter, Cristinia Riggs, of Oxford, N.C.; two brothers, Randy Hennen and Daryl Hennen, both of Crossroads; eight grandchildren, Kayla Riggs, Kelcie Riggs, Bailey Riggs, Emily Riggs, Karley Riggs, Kinley Riggs, Brooke Brown-Stobbe and Jordan Brown; and two great-grandchildren, Carter Riggs and Madison Sutton.
The family would like to thank Wishing Well/Genesis Pierpont Center for the excellent care given to our mother during her stay there.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, from 11 a.m. until noon Friday, Oct. 29. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at noon with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
