William Roy “Bill” Henline, 64, died on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021 at the J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, following a short illness. He was born in Kingwood, on June 9, 1957, a son to Ellen Lorraine Bennett.
Bill enlisted into the U.S. Army after attending high school and honorably served from 1975-1978. He would return home from the service and marry Ms. Brenda Hillery, and they would make a home in Cleveland, Ohio for more than 30 years. Bill worked at the I-X Center in Cleveland and would return to Morgantown in 2015. He enjoyed Mountaineer football, Major League Baseball and sports in general. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and never missed a bonfire with friends and family. He was a hard worker and a bit stubborn at times. He will be missed by many.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Brenda; two sons, Travis Henline, of Lakewood, Ohio, and Keith Henline, of Sabraton; three brothers, Chuck, Rocky and Tim Galford; one sister, Barbie Galford, all of Morgantown; grandchildren, Alexis Myer-Henline and Mason Henline; and his adopted grandchildren, Isabella, Emma, Mya and Arianna.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Lorraine Galford Reeder.
The family will welcome friends at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, He will be laid to rest at the WV National Cemetery, in Pruntytown, with military honors conducted by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the WVANG, Kingwood.
