Mabel Lois Stone, 77, of Kingwood, ran into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2021.
She was born March 14, 1944, in Mathews, Va., to Elisha and Clara Owen Stone and later raised by Elisha and Pauline Stone.
Lois was a member of Living Faith Church in Howesville. She Previously attended Valley Health Care Day Program. She loved coloring, sicker books, Santa Claus and most of all her “Babies” who she always gave such great care to. She was a very happy girl, always laughing and smiling. Everyone who know her loved her. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her brother, Cecil, and his daughters and families: Melissa Redding and Pierre, Melinda Hancock and John and son Benjamin, Marie Owen and Scott, son Evan and sister, Linda Presgraves and Steve, son Raymond and daughter Dana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and her stepmother, Pauline.
Lois spent the last 15 years of her life with her second family, Lefty and Vicki Stonebraker and their family, Kent, April, Karlee, Justin, Ruby, Tristen and Colton.
A visitation will be held at Browning Funeral Home, in Kingwood from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour, on Saturday, Oct. 16, with Pastor Ernie Rowan officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethlehem Cemetery on Dogtown Road.
Masks and social distancing will be observed during the visitation and funeral service.
