Lucille C. Johnson, 93, of Morgantown, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, in the Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.
She was born April 23, 1928, at Core, a daughter of the late George M. Statler and Mary Moore Statler.
Mrs. Johnson worked in the housekeeping department of Mon Health Medical Center for many years.
Surviving are one son and his wife, Allen Johnson and Marsha, of Cassville; one daughter and her husband, Marcia Vannoy and Michael, of Pursglove; one brother, John R. Statler, of Wadestown; her caregiver and companion, Gary Poling, of Morgantown; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the following siblings, Louise Poling, Dessie McCord, Myrtie Main, Dottie Hovatter, Rosalie Walls, Wilbert Statler, David Statler, James Statler, Charlie Statler, Jessie Statler and Herbert Statler.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, from 5-8 p.m. on Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday with Pastor Treg Spicer and Pastor Monica Calvert-Ohler officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Luke Cemetery at Mooresville.
