BRIDGEPORT — Class AAA No. 6 Bridgeport took care of business in a big way Friday night for its homecoming game, beating Preston 72-0.
It was a night of records for the Indians, scoring 45 points in one quarter and 59 in the first half. Their 72 points overall was also a school record.
Overcoming a long COVID-19 layoff, the Knights (0-4) are looking to get back in the swing of things after missing nearly three weeks following an outbreak. The lost last week to North Marion 31-12.
PHS will host Washington next week in its first home game since Sept. 10.
