Betty Ann Sypolt, 71, of Kingwood, passed away Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at home with loving family by her side.
She was born Oct. 22, 1949, in Tunnelton, a daughter of the late Ona and Letha Bohon Knotts.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and homemaker.
She is survived by her two sons, Charles Sypolt and wife Tracy and Allen Sypolt and wife Alyissa, all of Kingwood; five daughters, Zeda Johnson and husband Matthew and Angie Schultz and husband, Stanley, all of Kingwood, Ellen Burns and husband Dave, of Rowlesburg, Caroline Collins and husband Brian, of Reedsville, and Rhonda Thrasher, of Kingwood; two brothers, Ernie Knotts and wife, Janice, of Gladesville, and John Knotts and wife, Donna, of Tunnelton; five sisters, Jessie Jones, Patricia Buckingham and husband Richard, Della Buckingham and husband Glen and Mary Edwards, all of Tunnelton, and Joyce Sapp and husband Robert, of Pell Road; and 23 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two sisters- in-law, Sadie and Virginia Knotts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Delbert Sypolt, in 2007; two brothers, Paul and Ona Knotts; one sister, Elizabeth Nelson and a brother in-law, Tom Edwards.
Family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, from 2-4 p.m. and
6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, with Pastor Derek Syruws officiating. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery.
During the visitation and funeral service social distancing and masks should be observed.
