Clara Ruth Allen, 84 of Morgantown passed away Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, at Stonerise Kingwood. Ruth was born Oct. 18, 1936, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late George Elliott and Edith Lawlis Elliott.
Ruth was a sorority house director and a member of the Morgantown Bible Church.
Ruth is survived by two sons, Jim Watts, of Fairmont, and Randy (Kim) Watts, of Huntsville, Ala.; one daughter, Sheri King, of Pennsylvania; one sister, Mary Smith, of Morgantown; and grandchildren, Julie (Michael) Becker, Curtis Handy and Sean (Sarah) Watts.
Ruth was preceded in death by one sister, Martha; Edgar, and two brothers, Carl Elliott and Dennis Elliott.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and at the Morgantown Bible Church, 1407 Brookhaven Road from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, with Pastor James Cooley officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
