Belinda Jean Beers, 55, of Westover, passed away at her home on Sept. 22, 2021, with her husband and mother by her bedside. Belinda was born in Morgantown on March 11, 1966, to Betty Jean Wilson Mankins, of Morgantown, and the late Richard “Dick” Mankins.
Belinda worked for Health South for 15 years as an RNT until she was unable to work any longer. She enjoyed painting, drawing, reading and spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother, Belinda is survived by her husband of 32 years, Richard Beers, of Westover, and many neighbors and good friends.
In addition to her father, Belinda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pearl Jean Swiger, Anthony R. Swiger and Dewey W. Wilson.
Friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service, Friday, Sept. 24, with Pastor Jim Schimansky officiating. Following the service, McCulla Funeral Home will provide cremation service.
