She was an accomplished artist, a top-notch video game player, and enjoyed using all the current technology. Shirley was always welcoming and stayed in touch in recent times with a FaceTime call or text messages. She loved her family more than anything in this world. She shared her pride for each one at every opportunity and loved them with her whole heart. Even though she was a humble person, her family lovingly called her the “Queen of Everything” because that’s truly what she was. Shirley maintained her wit and charm to the very end.

Visitation will be held at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, and again from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 24.
