Joyce Ann Kinney (nee Gerard), 80, formerly of Morgantown, passed away at her home in Parma Heights, Ohio, on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021.
She was born on Nov. 16, 1940, in Morgantown, to the late William and Naomi Gerard.
Joyce was the beloved wife of the late Don Kinney and dear mother to Woody Kinney and Stephanie Rebar (Alan); grandmother of Nicholas, Ethan and Ashley; great-grandmother of Benjamin; and sister of Pete Gerard, Katherine Oines and Judy Gerard.
Her life revolved around her family. Joyce loved to bake and was the Christmas cookie maker. She also enjoyed gardening and planting flowers
Friends may join the family to honor Joyce’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover/Morgantown, from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7. The funeral procession will travel to Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens Chapel of Tranquility Mausoleum at 1 p.m. for a committal service at 1:15 p.m. officiated by the Rev. Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati, STD, VE.
