Bonnie Jean Perine, 59, of Bruceton Mills, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 30, 2021, surrounded by loving family.
She was born July 24, 1962, to Dewey and Shirley Pounds. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma/Mimi and friend. She spent her years caring for others. She was self-employed most of her life, co-owning Perine’s Mobile Home Park with her husband. She loved everyone that she came in contact with.
To live out her legacy of love are her husband of 40 years, Perry Perine; sons, Perry Jr. (Jessica) Perine and Jonathan (Leah) Perine; four grandchildren, Hayle, Nevaeh, Isaiah and Raelynn Perine; and two sisters, Anita (Ray) Wolfe-Zybell and Donna Mayle.
Also surviving are her sisters-in-love, Laura Perine and Lezlie (Lewis) Lough; brother-in-love, Nathan Perine; nieces, Heather Wolfe-Belanger and Crystal Wolfe, Savanna and Sahara Belanger, Vella Guthrie and Ariel Perine; and nephews, Brandon Lough, Adam (Samantha) Mayle and Orien Pyles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Shirley Pounds; sister, Clara Pounds; brothers-in-love, Kevin Perine and Bliss Mayle; and parents-in-love, Oneta and Junior Perine.
Friends will be received at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home, from 1-3 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 2, and again from 5 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. Cremation will follow, and a private inurnment will be held by the family. It is recommended that all guests attending properly wear a face covering.
