Marlene Kay Eddy, 63, of Morgantown, passed away on Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, at Ruby Memorial Hospice. Marlene was born in Morgantown on Jan. 12, 1958, to the late Delbert and Mildred Clevenger Newbraugh.
Marlene worked in office management for Dynamic Physical Therapy and most recently Playworks. Her passion was her faith and involvement in Spruce Street United Methodist Church, where she attended for over 30 years. She sang in the choir, enjoyed bible study, volunteered as the Vacation Bible School director for 15 years and was a member of the Morgantown Chapter of Sweet Adeline’s. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
Marlene is survived by her daughters, Lauren Webster (Chad) and Autumn Murry (Nick); son, Brandon Eddy (Susan); grandchildren, Piper Webster, Parker Webster and Amelia Eddy; and her sister, Darlene Myers (Robert), of Morgantown. She is also survived by her church family and many foster children she took into her home over the years.
McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation services.
