Dr. Marion “Mun” Kostka, 75, of Morgantown passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Aug. 16, 2021. Born Sept. 21, 1945, to Anthony “Tony” Stanley Kostka and Mary Barbara Wojdyla, he was the middle of three siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Penny Buseman Kostka; daughters, Bethany Hornbeck and Melissa Hornbeck; grandchildren, Alanna, Hyland, Zane, Hannah, Xavier, Lane, Gabriel, Judah and Rowan; his sisters, Antoinette “Toni” Traeger and Cynthia Revay; as well as countless other family and friends.
A funeral mass will be held at S. John University Parish, on Sept. 4, and a memorial service and celebration of his life at Morgantown Mariott at Waterfront Place Sept. 5.
