Scottie Ann Smith, 72, of Bruceton Mills, passed away on Aug. 5, 2021, at home with her loving husband by her side.
Scottie worked as a hairdresser for over 36 years. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and loved canning and baking for her family.
She is survived by Ron, her husband of 50 years; a daughter and her husband, Buffy and Mark Myers; and three cherished grandchildren, Noah, Colby and Brooke Myers. Scottie’s other surviving family members include Freda Smith; Bill and Cathy Smith; nephew, Jeff Smith; and a niece and her husband, Apryl and Orlando Evans, and their children, Morganne, Carter, Mason and Camryn.
Scottie wished to donate her body to Health Science Education and Research. Her family honors and respects her wishes.
