Dolores Ann Samson, 84, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, at her home. She was born March 31, 1937, in Granville, a daughter of the late Dennis Charles and Florence Catherine (Seibel) Rowan.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and crocheting. She especially loved babies, including her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and neighbors.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Samuel Samson; three children, Terri Walls and her husband Hoye, Joyce Dunko and her husband Doug and Kim Peskar and her husband Steve; brother, Dennis Rowan; grandchildren, Richard Sanders and his wife Jackie, Sherry Jordan and her husband Shane, Michael Sanders and his wife Brittany, Kelly Frum and her husband Scott, Amy McDonald and her husband Chuck, Meghan Buck and her husband Jeremy, Brittney DeMent and her husband Chris, Bianca Dunko, Alexa Dunko, Hunter Peskar, Jarrett Peskar and McKenzie Peskar; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Hailey, Kiley, Autumn, Mikey, Dorinda, Remmy, Colton, Aemilie, McKenzie, Lexis, Kennah and Ashton; and sister-in-law, Norma Rowan.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda K. Campbell; siblings, Russell Rowan, Gloria Rowan, Donna Rowan and Robert Rowan.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 10 and again from 9 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 11 until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. with Pastor Craig Falkenstine officiating. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
