Dawn M. Phillips, 60, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Dawn was born in Waynesburg, Pa., May 26, 1961, a daughter of the late Edward and Betty Kughn Hoskinson.
Dawn worked at Mountaineer Middle School as head nutritionist. In her free time, Dawn enjoyed being outdoors, where she would garden, tend to her flowers, enjoy wildlife and feed the birds. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Marshall Phillips; sons, Adam Phillips and Matthew Phillips and fiancé Christina Whipple, all of Morgantown; sister, Darcy Kisko, of Morgantown; brother, Daryl Hoskinson (Teresa), of Fairmont; and grandchildren, Liam and Elias Phillips.
Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home, from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2, and from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the 11 a.m. funeral service. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
