Barry Bartasevich, of Hudson, Maine, a long-distance trucker, passed unexpectedly June 24, 2021, from complications of diabetes.
Born Feb. 26, 1951, in Morgantown, he was the only child of Julius and Ruth Pauline Bartasevich. He graduated Morgantown High School in 1969. Barry helped with the family business, Royal Crown Cola Bottling Company, often hitching rides in the delivery trucks.
Barry graduated Bentley College with a degree in accounting. While attending school, Barry often visited his sister in Pemaquid, Maine. He loved to travel, often visiting Hawaii and France, among his many adventurous excursions.
Loving brother of Sandra Sanders Cheney (Daniel), of Pemaquid, Maine, he also leaves nephew, Mark Cheney (Cynthia); nieces, Leslie Bolster and Susan Cheney; five great-nieces and nephews; cousins, William and James Bartasevich; as well as special friends and traveling companions.
