Glenn Milton Dusenberry, 85, of Mount Morris, Pa., died at 12:26 a.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, in Morgantown.
He was born Monday, Jan. 20, 1936, in Bobtown, Pa., a son of the late Charles Dusenberry and Elizabeth Wade Dusenberry.
Glenn was a veteran, having served with the United States Airforce. Mr. Dusenberry was an avid WVU sports fan, as well as Steeler football and NASCAR racing. Glenn loved being outside. For
35-plus years he worked as a parts salesman at the Hinerman’s NAPPA Parts Store in Waynesburg.
His wife, Carolyn J. Pratt Dusenberry, whom he married on Sept. 18, 1956, died Jan. 9, 2018.
Surviving are one daughter, Dixie D. Adams and her husband Danny, of Arthurdale; four grandchildren, April Biddle and her husband Joshua, Andrea Loughry, Danny Adams Jr. and his wife Tammi and Charlie Adams; eight great-grandchildren: Paige, Faith, Cody, Wyatt, Lenna, Corey, Daisy and Dora; one great-great-granddaughter, Lorelei; two sisters, Marge Lewellen and Maxine Pallai, both of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is one sister, Jackie Donley.
Friends will be received in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director, 324 Mount Morris Road, Mount Morris, Pa., from noon-2 p.m, the time of the service, Thursday, July 22, with the Rev. William Parker officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris, Pa. The family asks that everyone dresses casually for the visitation and service. Graveside Military Rites will be accorded by members of the James T. Maxon American Legion Post #992 and representatives of the United States Air Force. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your favorite charity.
