David Scott Buckingham, of Tunnelton, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021, at North Myrtle Beach, S.C. with loving family.
He was born Sept. 7, 1974, in Kingwood, the son of David A. and Barbara Taylor Buckingham.
David was a loving husband, father, pappy and brother. He loved hunting, fishing, NASCAR, dirt track racing and his life revolved around Kelsea, and Grayson. He was an operating engineer for Nicholson Construction, Cuddy, Pa.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Elisha Poling Buckingham; three sons, Dylan Poling and wife Madison, of Kingwood, Dakota Buckingham, of Rowlesburg, and Jonathan Buckingham, of Kingwood; his daughter, Kelsea Buckingham, living at home; his sister, Belinda Bishop and husband Paul, of Bruceton Mills; and a grandson, Grayson Poling.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jessie and Ruth Buckingham; and his maternal grandparents, Edward and Isabelle Taylor.
Family and friends may be received at Burke Chapel in Rowlesburg, from 4-8 p.m., Friday, July 23, and from noon-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 24. Service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 25, with Pastor Kevin Keplinger officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Terra Alta.
