Robert Eddie Zvara Jr., 69, of Bethel Park Pa., died in his home on July 3, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. As one of five sons of Nancy Carol Hudson and his namesake, Robert Eddie Zvara Sr., he is survived by brothers, Steve, Dave, Joe and Jeff.
A retired diesel mechanic, Mr. Zvara was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dessie Eileen Bresock Zvara, and his parents Robert and Nancy.
Robert is survived by a stepdaughter, Kathy Austin, four step-grandchildren; Cassandra and Adam Ringer, Kayla Austin and Brandy Austin. He also had six loving step-great-grandchildren: Daryn, Kelsi, Autumn, Dawn, Lilith and Carlin; as well as four caring nieces: Connie, Melissa, Jennifer and Nicole
While Mr. Zvara had no children of his own, many in the family loved and were loved by him as if they were kin.
Robert is a veteran of the Vietnam War, achieving an honorable discharge from the United States Marines Corp while attaining the rank of corporal. His ashes will be interred at the National Military Cemetery of the Alleghenies, where he and Eileens’ memories will live on forever.
