Beulah Ruth Parker, 92, of Terra Alta (Saltlick Community), died suddenly on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at home.
The daughter of the late Washington G. and Ona M. Metheny Beatty, she was born Feb. 3, 1929, in Terra Alta. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a member of Wesley Chapel Church, Saltlick. She was employed for 20 years at the Terra Alta Garment Factory.
She is survived by two daughters, Diana Sisler, of Winchester, Va., and Patty Spearman, of Woodbridge, Va.; six sons, Jack (Jenene) Parker, Russell (Patricia) Parker, Alfred Parker and Mark Parker, all of Terra Alta, Jerry Parker and Rodney (Lisa) Parker, all of Tunnelton; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Espy L. Parker in 2004; a son, Leroy Parker; and several brothers and sisters.
Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta, from 6-8 p.m., Friday evening, and at the Wesley Chapel Church, Salt Lick, from 10 a.m. Saturday July 10, until the 11 a.m. time of service with Pastor Kevin Keplinger officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
