Linda Lee McCloud, 68, of Reedsville, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Linda was born in Morgantown, Aug. 4, 1952, a daughter of the late Robert Samuel Ennis Sr. and Dottie Madeline (Thomas) Ennis.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed playing cards, riding around in the ATV, shopping and spending time with her family. Linda genuinely loved her job at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital and the people she worked with. During her 40-plus years of service she touched many people. She was a 1970 graduate of Valley High School in Masontown.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, David McCloud; five children, Chuck Miller, Rob Miller, Michael Miller and wife Kelly, Heather Mayne and Justin McCloud; adopted daughters, Suzetta Straight, Becky Polak and Jamie Schnopp; nine grandchildren, Tori and husband Thomas, Chase, Hunter, Aubree, Laya, Bailey, Nathan and wife Chasity, Jordan and wife Krystle and Lexi; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert S. Ennis Jr. and wife Cindy; four sisters, Diana Taylor and husband Albert, Sandy Wiles and husband Gary, Libby Cress and husband Rick and Carlie Lambert and Jay; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dog, Simon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Pat and Wanda McCloud.
Friends may be received at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, June 27, and from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 28. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, with Pastor Jim Carder officiating. Interment will follow at the Masontown Cemetery.
