James Frederick Henline Jr., 74, of Tunnelton died on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Preston Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 31, 1947, in Wainville, aka Lost Run, a son of the late James Frederick and Pearl Agatha Weese Henline Sr.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict, worked for 30 years as an installer for C & P Telephone, AT&T, Verizon and Frontier. He was a member of the Col. Rowen VFW Post 2345 in Tunnelton.
He is survived by his brother, Kenneth R. Heline, of Independence, and many good neighbors and friends.
Friends may call at Browning Funeral Home, from 10 a.m.-noon, the funeral hour, in Kingwood, Friday June 18, with Pastor Sonny McNear officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Preston County Honor Guard and The WVANG military Funeral Honors.
