Work continues on the $6.9 million expansion of Mylan Park’s Hazel and J.W. Ruby Community Center.
The 48,000-square-foot addition will nearly double the size of the facility, making it the largest center of its kind between Pittsburgh and Charleston.
The design is by Paradigm Architecture and it’s being built by Lytle Construction.
The expansion itself will be able to accommodate five basketball or volleyball courts or two indoor soccer footprints.
The facility, which can be used by camps, leagues and tournaments, is expected to be open by April 2022.
