Mary Jane Pickenpaugh, 92, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021. She was born Aug. 4, 1928, to the late Joseph and Edna Robison, of Cheat Neck.
Mary was a homemaker and an excellent cook. In her spare time, she loved gardening and watching wildlife.
She is survived by her children, James T. Pickenpaugh and wife Sally, of Morgantown, Patricia Ann Pickenpaugh, of Daybrook, Patrick A. Pickenpaugh and wife Sally, of Stewartstown Road; and daughter, Karen Sollars, with whom she made her home in Daybrook. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kimberly Pickenpaugh Greene and husband Nathan, Stephanie “Stacy” Pickenpaugh Croston and husband Paul and Trevor Pickenpaugh; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Greene, Alexa Greene, Kylie Croston and Spencer Croston; and nephews, Paul Teichert, of Georgia, and David Teichert, of Florida.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Pickenpaugh, who passed away on Oct. 5, 2000; sister, Peggy Teichert; and brother, Franklin Robison. A graveside service will be held at Zion Cemetery on Sunset Beach Road, Morgantown, at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 3, with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
