Preston knocked out of postseason with 16-0 loss to Martinsburg

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Preston got shut out for the first time this season in the WVSLA D2 quarterfinals at No. 1 Martinsburg, 16-0. 

The Bulldogs sank four goals in the first quarter, followed by five, four, and three to hit the 16-mark in the win. 

“This was the only time we were shut out this season,” PHS coach Jeff Dreisbach said. “Our stick skills were no match for the Bulldogs. Now it is up to our players to work on their skills for next season.” 

Zeke Lilly had 11 saves in the loss. 

The Knights end their season at 1-12 overall.
