Darla Jean Nickler, 74, of Morgantown, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 22, 2021. Darla was born May 27, 1946, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Robert Birch and Juanita Wilson Birch.
Darla worked in retail sales in Morgantown for many years. She loved being with her family and especially enjoyed her grandsons.
Darla is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Dawn Mocniak, of Morgantown; two grandsons, Lucas Mocniak and wife Brie, and Matthew Mocniak; and one sister, Joy Combs and husband Sandy.
Darla was preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Shubert and Bobbie Ann Waterman.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, May 25, and from 10 a.m., Wednesday, until the 11 a.m. funeral service with Pastor Shawn Frasure officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Point Marion.
