Patricia Mary Reilly, 77 of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021, at her residence following an extended illness.
Born May 23, 1943, in Trumbull, Conn., Pat was a daughter of the late Edward and Margurite (Mahoney) Keefe.
Survivors include her husband, Will Reilly; daughter, Moira (and husband Steve), of Morgantown; son, Bruce, of Bunnell, Fla.; sister, Marge (and husband Gene), of Alexandria, Va.; sister-in-law, Emelia Ann (and husband Jim), of Altoona, Pa.; two brothers-in-law, Matt (and wife Suzanne), of Ocala, Fla., and Jim (and wife Margaret), of Lincoln, Calif.; and many cousins, nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Pat graduated from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Conn. and earned her master’s degrees in education from Southern Connecticut State University and social work from West Virginia University.
She lived her passion for helping others throughout her career in family and individual therapy in a variety of contexts. She shared her love of travel, music and the outdoors with her family.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be said in St. John University Parish, 1481 University Ave., Morgantown, at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 15, with the Rev. Fr. Brian J. Crenwelge as celebrant. Visitation with the family is one hour prior to the start of the Mass at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 1264 University Ave., Morgantown, WV 26505.
