The Mohigans used a big first inning in Game 1 of a doubleheader, scoring six runs, to knock off the Knights in six innings. MHS’s big bats were led by Maris Anthony, Mahalie Moser, Katie Lemley, Grace Haines, Lillian Kooser and Ava Biafore, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

In the circle, Kooser got the start and pitched two innings, allowing one unearned run while striking out five. Micah Wilson tossed the final four innings and did not allow a hit, striking out seven.

In Game 2, MHS only needed three innings to force the mercy rule. It scored eight runs in the first and second innings, thanks in large part to four RBIs from Anthony. Emma Pharis, Emily Goldcamp, Jocelyn McCartney, Moser and Kooser each drove in one run.
