Anna McMillen

Anna Pearl “Mary” Nicholson McMillen, 88, passed unexpectedly on Monday, April 19, 2021, at her home. She was born July 30, 1932, in Morgantown, a daughter to Timothy and Anna McDonald Nicholson.

Aunt Mary, as she was known to so many, was the constant caregiver of the family. She provided so much love and dignity for those she cared for, including nephews, sisters, aunts and so many others. She was also known as the family historian. She could recount birthdays, anniversaries and many other important dates for all her family members.

She retired from the Brock Insurance Agency with many years of service.

She is survived by her two sisters, Glenda Corob, and Mildred “Winnie” Ruble (Charlie), all of Morgantown. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Timothy and Anna Nicholson; her husband, Willard “Ray” McMillen; four brothers; and five sisters.

Visitation will be held at the Nicholson Chapel Church, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Pastors Kenny Reed and Francis “Jake” Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow at the Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
