Tuesday’s positive COVID diagnosis of a Suncrest Middle School student has put an additional 14 classmates into quarantine, the district said.
No other teachers or staffers were impacted, Superintendent Eddie Campbell Jr. said.
The classmates will quarantine for 14 days, as per the county’s pandemic protocol.
Campbell said the school has already been thoroughly disinfected by the district’s in-house coronavirus response team.
