Anna Belle Tennant, 90, of Westover, passed away on April 7, 2021. She was born in Independence, to the late Virgil and Frances Grimm.
Anna’s life revolved around her family, she was the matriarch of the Grimm family after her mother passed. She really enjoyed spending quality time with her family. In her free time, she loved to quilt and cook. You could always find Anna singing hymns and humming. She was also a very neat and tidy person that kept her house spotless.
Anna is survived by her husband of 66 years, Denzil Tennant; two children, Dennis Tennant and wife Diane, of Milwaukee Wis., Howard Tennant and wife Wilma, of New Braunfels Texas; four grandchildren, Sean Tennant and wife Ashley Stone, of Glenville N.Y., Erin and husband Cameron Edmondson, of Milwaukee Wis., Travis and wife Brynna, of Amarillo Texas, and Casey and wife Tori, of New Braunfels Texas; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Nancy Toth, of Bowling Green Ky., and Dot Dailey, of Morgantown.
In addition to her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her two sisters, Wilma Jones and Helen Clower.
The family will receive friends at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 11 a.m., Monday, April 12, until the time of services at 1 p.m. with Dennis Lusin Chaplin of WV Caring Hospice officiating. Anna will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
