MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Morgantown High girls’ basketball team used its 3-point shooting to down Buckhannon-Upshur on Monday, March 29, 64-46, converting on 11 of 22 attempts.
Berit Johnson led MHS (6-1) in scoring with 15 points. Kaitlyn Ammons scored 13 and Revaya Sweeney added 10.
“Thought our girls did a fantastic job of finding the open teammate against Buckhannon’s zone. That led to nine first-half 3s, and 11 for the game. Berit Johnson hit four of those nine and really sparked our offense,” Morgantown head coach Jason White said.
The Mohigans will play again at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at Wheeling Park.
